I used the Paslode S200-S16 primarily on one project and it worked flawlessly! I installed medium shakes on a gabled gazebo roof and the gable ends as well. I give it a 5+ stars! I also used it to replace some fence boards and it worked perfectly there too. I don't think the other reviewer was fair in review of the gun if he was having compressor issues. Have a competent compressor dialled in and this will work flawlessly.

I bought this product because of the price for what seemed like an equivalent product to the Honeywell or AAF (American Air Filter) product. But it a poor cousin. It is cheaper, but what you get is less as well. Note the key differences compared to the AAF product:

1 - It is thinner: 3-5/8 inches versus 4-3/8 inches.
2 - It has only 13 folds of the filter versus 18.

It all adds up to less filtration surface. Pay less, get less. I'll buy the AAF or Honeywell next time.

It's a Makita, so it's pretty-much guaranteed to be a well-made, functional power tool. Drilled 24 holes 3/8 x 2" deep in the deck above me on approximately 1 battery (I started with one that was already in use on another tool). Vacuum works nicely as well as the built-in depth stop. Power / drilling speed was on par with my corded 1" hammer drills (Bosch Bulldog). Also did some light-chipping with it, and it worked fine.

Spyderco Sage Wood with Titanium Bolsters Plain Edge Knife Review

I was looking for an EDC knife to replace my lost Spyderco Military left hand and stumbled across this little beauty. Being and outdoorsman I was immediately attracted to the arizona hardwood handles and titanium bolsters. The main deciding factor in getting this knife was the cmp s30v blade which is top of the line as far as pocket knives go.

When I received the knife in the mail I could not be happier. As others have mentioned, the wood is much darker in person and the grains really stand out. I think looks much better than the lighter wood pictured. The clip is very sturdy and can actually be put on the other side of the knife which is helpful for me because I am a lefty. The fit and finish on this knife is second to none and the snap made from opening this knife is insanely loud and solid. The quality of this knife reminds me of the Sypderco Vallotton which is also a masterpiece. The blade comes shaving sharp with a beautiful grind and the titanium bolsters are a perfect fit.

Overall I would not hesitate to purchase this knife again and find it to be a perfect EDC for me. It is a little heavier than the other Sage knives but the locking mechanism is one of the strongest I have ever seen and the snap made when opening this knife is something special. The arizona hardwood handle make this knife unique as no two will be exactly the same and go very nice with the titanium bolsters. If you are looking for an EDC knife that is also classy and has an outdoor appeal to it, this is the knife for your.
