Albrecht makes their own chucks, in thier own factory, controlling ALL facets of quality, from materials, to fit, to finish!

A Chinese chuck came with my Mill. (SX3)It had so much runout, the resulting hole, was more of an 'oval' than a hole.

I checked runout to be around .007" To a machinist, this translates to scrap metal.
I immediately took steps to acquire the CP-130 Albrect Chuck with an integrel R8 shank.
My runout went from .007" to .00013"! Yeah it costs more; but you could say the same comparing a KIA to a BMW !
LIGHT YEARS DIFFERENCE IN QUALITY !

I've mailed my Chinese Chuck back to the reseller with instructions to fill up his landfill with this part, instead of my landfill!
