This new 3-Piece Door Bit Set combines the New 99-761 Premier Adjustable Rail and Stile bits along with the 99-520 2+2 raised panel bit. Top portion of cutter, including bearing and spindle, is removed to produce the front of the long tenon profile for blind tenons, through tenons, or bridle joints. Imagine creating rattle free flat panel doors. Adjustable shims enable both a tight fit when using plywood panels and the ability to use thick panels ( from 5.5mm to 6.35mm ). The unique cutter geometry virtually eliminates tearout. This set features Freud's 99-520 2 + 2 raised panel bit. Two small wings that cut downward and two large wings that shear upward, produce an extremely smooth cut in hardwoods, softwoods and even plywoods. This revolutionary design is combined with a backcutter so that, in one step, you can create a flawless raised panel door that is flush with the frame on both sides. There are pluses and minuses to this kit. On the plus side: Freud always makes high quality router bits that are machined to very high tolerances. This attention to detail leaves a very high quality cut with little to no burning. Setup is fairly straight forward with the included written directions. It does come with a mini dvd, but this leads me to the negative parts of this review.

Who the heck uses mini dvd's? They are a pain. My laptop doesn't even have a regular dvd drive anymore let alone a drive for a mini dvd, and the video's are not available on freud's website (I've checked). All my dvd players are so old that they no longer work. I ended up ripping the dvd to a mp4 file using my old computer circa 1999. I had to return my first set to amazon due to a defective proprietary wrench that is needed to disassemble the stile bit. This wrench is essentially a flat piece of metal with two metal tabs bent down on the end of it. It's very low quality and the tabs can be easily bent. I returned the first set because it came with a wrench that had a bent tab right out of the box.

Overall I am still fairly pleased with these bits despite the minor issues. Compared to their competition I think they are the best in their class. The biggest issue for me is the mini dvd thing, but this could easily be remedied if Freud would just post the videos on their webpage.

We all heard of Multi-Tools they have been around for quite some time . But there are few multi-tools for the communications and telecom industry.
Gerber has come out with the Cable Dawg Tool. When you buy one the first thing you will notice is it made in the United States which is always great to see. When you look at it and try to figure out how to open it there is a little safety lever above the springs. But read the instruction manual first which is short and you can breeze through it. When you open the Cable Dawg you will be able to access the accessory compartment which contains two Phillips screwdriver bits, flat tip screwdriver, 110 punch down tip and 66 block punch down tip. Now that you discovered the attachments where do you put them? It is actually quite ingenious. You press a button and the handle slides off You then open up the magnetic driver extension and insert your tool bit choice.. You now have a instant tool which you can screw or punch down.
The tool has a built in RJ45 crimper. . To use you set your plastic end and wires and crimp it. Next to the RJ45 crimper is a wire stripper which will strip wires sizes from 10 to 24 gauge. On the tip of the tool is a wire cutter, as well as CAT 5 jacket cutter. The jacket cutter works by simply inserting your CAT 5 wire in it, close the handle and then rotate the tool around the wire and simply pull the sheath off the wire.
The Cable Dawg has a knife with a serrated edge on one side and the other side has a hook to remove the sheath from bigger phone cables.
The Cable Dawg is a lightweight tool that you can slip into your pocket or attach to your belt, or Mollie Gear. The tool lacks pliers and some of the other punch down accessories but it packs a lot in a small package and is worth adding to your tool box.

I've had the Trend for several weeks now and have used it regularly. I also have the Triton system. My woodshop is a 12X16 uninsulated storage shed. With the Triton, the power pak is worn around the waist, and in my small shop, I kept knocking into things with it. It eventually broke off the belt. I do not have that problem with the Trend, since the power unit is in the helmet. Yet, with the power unit in the helmet, the Trend is a lot noisier than the Triton, though one gets used to it. The Trend is a sleeker design... more modern. Yet, with the Triton I could move the face shield up and away from my face if I needed to scratch my nose. Cannot do this with the Trend. The Trend is more money, and, if it continues to operate well, will be worth it. I have wood allergies, and both helmets do the job in that area.

The ear defenders on the Trend are junk. They broke the first time I tried to attach them to the helmet. I have now superglued them in place, but don't have much hope of this lasting.

The Moen 6100BN Level One-Handle Low Arc Bathroom Faucet, in Brushed Nickel is unconventional in design. The design of this faucet is almost strictly utilitarian in both form and function. The lines of this faucet are not just clean they are stark and painfully angular. The brushed nickel satin finish allows the jolting nature of the faucet design to fade into the background a little but not much. This Moen 6100BN Level One-Handle Low Arc Bathroom Faucet, in Brushed Nickel was designed to make a strong statement. I just brought two single hole sinks so a single hole faucet solution was my only option in my new bathroom design. I like the single faucet bathroom sink so this was not a problem for me. I brought this particular faucet because the other Moen offering was poorly designed monstrosity that had serious water spotting and standing water issues. While this faucet is an ugly duckling in comparison to the other Moen offering, it has no water spotting or other issues. Moen usually puts out quality products but; I am seeing a greater use of cheap plastic parts and bad or worse just plain lazy engineering in Moen Products. Used to be that the Moen name stood for quality without compromise but, now the compromise is becoming easier to see in most Moen product lines.

This Moen 6100BN Level One-Handle Low Arc Bathroom Faucet, in Brushed Nickel is still a pretty top end faucet that should give many years of problem free use. My plumbers will install this so it will be done right. My crazy brother has this same faucet so I have used it at his house. Anything I buy my brother must not only buy but he must always have it installed before I do, he watches out for me. Anyway the faucet does not leak. Water does not stand on any part of the faucet. the strong angle on the shaft of the faucet does a good job preventing standing water beads due to water surface tension. the control knob gives solid yet smooth tactile feel as you turn the handle from each of its extreme presets of cold to hot. The faucet does create some noise because of its aerator but the noise is not oppressive and I am an extremely noise sensitive autistic man. The faucets design lends itself to easy cleaning. You might have to floss the underside of the faucet occasionally to keep soap buildup and other scum from collection in the crook of the inverted Y created at the junction where the underside of the spout and main shaft body of the faucet meet.
