The Fowler 54-100-067 Sylvac IP67 S_Cal Pro digital caliper measures a range of 0 to 6"/0 to 150mm, with 0.001"/0.02mm accuracy and 0.0005"/0.01mm resolution, and it has a hardened stainless steel frame. The digital, single-value readout LCD shows inch and metric units for versatility when measuring. It has a zero setting for taking intermediate or differential measurements. The knurled lock screw holds the sliding jaw in position and helps ensure a consistent measurement. The LCD automatically switches to idle mode after 20 minutes of inactivity to help prolong battery life. Moving the electronic component on the frame returns the caliper to use, and position memory retains absolute measurements during idle mode. This caliper is used for measuring inside dimensions (ID), outside dimensions (OD), depth, and step.

The hardened stainless steel frame offers corrosion resistance and long life. This caliper is rated to IP67 level of protection against dust and immersion in water under standard conditions for up to 30 minutes. It resists coolants and lubricants to help protect the frame and electronic components from damage in rigorous environments. The maximum measuring speed is 2.5m/second. Bought this fireplace to make our windowless basement feel more homey to stage the house for sale. Needed one that vented the heat out the bottom so we could mount a TV above it. Very happy with this unit. It worked well. Like that it has low and high settings and adjustable flame. It looks fairly realistic but could look a little better. It sits of the wall and is easy to mount. We thought about building a mantle around it but that would have make the control buttons difficult to reach. It does come with a remote control, but you can only power it completely off, versus standby mode, on the unit itself. We like it enough that we took it with us when we moved. Good value for the money.

The Starrett 196A1Z dial indicator has gradations of 0.001� and is versatile, accurate, reliable, and simple to operate. This rugged indicator has very few moving parts, and comes with three hardened contact points, an adaptor, four attachments, and a case.

The attachments include a clamp, tool post holder, snug, and hole attachment. The clamp has a 1-5/16 (33mm) flat or round capacity and a 5/16� (8mm) post usable with the Starrett PT18718 snug or equivalent. The tool post holder is 3/8 x 3/4" x 6 (9/5 x 19 x 150 mm) and has an upright 5/16 �� diameter spindle that is 4-1/2 � long (8 x 114 mm), also compatible with the Starrett PT18718 snug or equivalent. The snug is an attachment with a hole for a tool post, adjustable hole for other accessories, and a knurled thumb screw to adjust. The post hole has a 5/16 diameter and the snug itself has a 3/32” to 1/4� � holding capacity. The hole attachment allows the indicator to be used over obstructions and inside holes to a depth of approximately 1-5/8� . The three contact points include the Starrett PT05471, a rounded, or ball, point; PT05472, a smaller-diameter flattened disc; and PT05473, a larger-diameter flattened disc. This indicator is extremely useful for general purposes in a machine shop such as, tramming milling machine heads, vises, centering parts on a four jaw chuck, centering tailstocks, and with appropriate accessory, it can locate holes and do other internal gauging. Although it is graduated in .001", you can be more accurate than that with the indicator, since most of the time you will be indicating so that the needle does not move at all, not just that it moves less than one graduation.

If I had tried this indicator out before buying other kinds, I would probably have not bought as many indicators as I have, it fills a lot of roles, and covers a good deal of the indicating requirements in a machine shop. It's also extremely rugged, easy to use, and accurate.

After a year of research about toilets, we decided to buy the American Standard 2403.128.020 Compact Cadet-3 FloWise Toilet in white. WOW! this toilet does everything it says it can do except clean itself! It's quiet, it flushes a LOT of matter (you know what I'm referring to) and is very easy to clean. Some people have had problems with the cover, which was a concern for me after reading the reviews. However, my husband and I aren't small sized people and as long as you sit gently down (Not come crashing down with all your body weight at once, which most covers probably couldn't take anyway) we've had NO issues. I have a 4y.o. son so I love that the seat and the cover are slow closing. No way to get anything caught by dropping the seat or cover when closing. We bought two to replace the horrible all-in-one system toilets we had. So now after a year, the toilet(s) still work great! We've also saved about $30 a month on our water bill which means these toilets will have paid for themselves in a few years. Excellent toilet! We reccommend highly.
