Dynabrade 69035 Dynorbital Silver Supreme Non-Vacuum Random Orbital Sander, 5-Inch Review

I am a professional woodworker and this is my third Dynabrade in fifteen years. The first one lasted the longest and was sad to retire it when Dynabrade told us they didn't offer rebuild kits. I replaced it with the least expensive Dynabrade model which lasted around three years before it wore out. Not bad, but a let-down compared to the first one. I never inquired about rebuilding it. I use this with 120-grit PSA sandpaper. It works great on aggressive sanding, but works better when the sander does the work.

I ordered this item from shopzeus and it arrived in a timely manner, new in the box. I turned it on, the heating plate worked, and the stirring mechanism spun, so I figured it worked. A few days later I tried using it, and placed a small glass bowl with water inside on the plate, then turned on the stirrer. Nothing happened. I tried again, still nothing. I contacted SHOPZEUS 4 days ago and informed them of the problem and have yet to recieve a response. The reason i purchased a new one was so i wouldn't have to worry about a malfunctioning device, now i paid full price for a broken item, and they won't return my emails, or help me in any way. I will not purchase anything from them again, nor would i recommend them to anyone.

Yellow Jacket 60440 Swage/flare kit complete 3/16" to 3/4" O.D. Review

I've had this for a couple of years now and I think this is a very good swage and flare set. It's made in Taiwan, but genuinely looks and feels like a quality tool with sizes from 3/16" to 3/4". It's very handy for service work and doesn't take up a lot of room in the truck. It comes with a decent fitted storage case and I really like having the ability to flare and swage tubing all with one set. I also have the other YJ set like this one that goes from 3/4" to 1-1/8" tubing.
Although I have the newer style YJ eccentric flare tool, this tool can also makes some very nice looking flares.
It can be a little slow to work with sometimes, so I generally only use this bar when I just need to swage a few pieces of tubing, such as for service and repair work or where working space is limited. If you have the room to work or need swage a lot of tubing, a larger expander type swage tool would be easier and faster for production work.

My third Benchmade, this one is the best so far.. I'd give this knife a solid 10 but 5 stars is the max. Out of the box this awesome mini unit will go to town on any task. Machining on the D2 blade is nothing short of presision workmanship, the blade is a sustantial piece of steel made in the USA and the locking cam will keep the blade secure until you fold it in. The handles are wonderfully tapered to provide one of the best grips I have encountered. On the the thumb hole - leave it alone. The non-bevel provides (IMO) perfect thumb access, traction and comfort when it comes time to open the blade - tapering the hole whould only serve to lessen grip ability. And for looks, the mossy green & black carving on the handle makes this one of the baddest looking knives out there.

I own and love this caliper. That said, there are a few things that you should understand before you buy.

First, it's auto on/off. So it doesn't have an on or off button. Once the light goes down (as mentioned below 60 lux) it shuts the screen off, and it'll shut the screen off after 30 minutes of no activity.

Secondly, if you store it in the dark for a long time it'll take an hour or more to charge the battery. During that time the LCD will only light while in relatively bright light levels.

I personally keep mine on my desk in front of a big window. So it's always in the light. If I were keeping it in my toolcase and only occasionally bringing it out, and possibly in relatively low-light locations, I'd probably choose one of the digimatic battery-powered calipers.
