I've had this for a couple of years now and I think this is a very good swage and flare set. It's made in Taiwan, but genuinely looks and feels like a quality tool with sizes from 3/16" to 3/4". It's very handy for service work and doesn't take up a lot of room in the truck. It comes with a decent fitted storage case and I really like having the ability to flare and swage tubing all with one set. I also have the other YJ set like this one that goes from 3/4" to 1-1/8" tubing.Although I have the newer style YJ eccentric flare tool, this tool can also makes some very nice looking flares.
It can be a little slow to work with sometimes, so I generally only use this bar when I just need to swage a few pieces of tubing, such as for service and repair work or where working space is limited. If you have the room to work or need swage a lot of tubing, a larger expander type swage tool would be easier and faster for production work.
