Well I've been using a single pair of these to do metal work in the shop for over a year. They haven't fallen apart and I haven't cut myself. And I've been working with sharp metal edges.

Can I guarantee the cut resistance? Well, no, all I can say is I haven't been cut.

I can say unlike the other reviewer they still look and work like new. I've recommended them to a couple others who've had good experience with them.
