I have had the M18 drill ( -20) that is very similar to this but isn't the Fuel model for a couple of years and thought it is a fine drill and wanted another one like it. I had been reading about the brushless motor advantages in the Fuel models and ordered this one. I have about 12 drills, and this is definitely the best. It is much quieter than the older model, has good run time, good chuck, excellent clutch, fine trigger control. I like the extra 400 rpm for jobs like installing deadbolts in doors that aren't drilled for them. The 2 1/8" hole saw for the lock set takes a powerful drill, but using the small router like bit for routing the edge of the door is a lot quicker with a fast drill. This drill does both well. The switch between screw driving clutch and drilling mode is a nice addition as well.
