The hardware is definitely worth the very low price as you aren't expecting high end performance.

The instructions are very close to worthless. It's not just a matter of battling with some horrific Chinglish, it's a matter of them being incomplete as well. If you don't already know how to use a logic analyzer and don't have access to someone or something to show you, then this may not be the best choice.

The software is is functional if not particularly intuitive.

I haven't gotten the hang of how the protocol analyzers are supposed to work other than displaying the same wave forms that are displayed without using a proytocol analyzer at all. I expect they're supposed to actually show the transmitted data, but I haven't figured out how to see that yet and I haven't been able to find it in the instructions. However, the same evening I received this device I used it to isolate a problem in 2 hours (including the time to figure out how to use the unit) that I'd been trying to locate for a week.

I'm giving it 4 stars because the hardware it's exactly what they said it would be and the hardware is worth the money. I'm dinging it one star because they didn't even meet my already low expectations for the manual.
