We bought a set of Cutco knives a few years ago and love them. After looking at sporting goods stores and not liking what I saw, I thought of Cutco. It was a bit more money than I wanted to spend but it's worth it. This is a quality sturdy knife not a toy. Of course a new knife is going to be sharp but after cutting through fur & bones most knives would need sharpened. Not this one and it has a Forever Guarantee. I will enjoy using this knife for years I'm sure.
